Calling all young royals! Join Syracuse City Ballet this August for our magical Prince & Princess Camp that includes a week of dancing, creativity, and storytelling designed just for dancers ages 6–10.
Each day begins with a fun and engaging one-hour ballet technique class, followed by stretch & strength exercises to help dancers build flexibility, coordination, and confidence. Campers will then dive into a new classical ballet each day, exploring the characters, music, and stories that bring these timeless tales to life.
Through themed crafts and choreography inspired by each ballet, dancers will bring their imaginations to the studio and prepare for a special end-of-week performance on Thursday to share with family and friends!
Perfect for all levels, this camp is a wonderful introduction or continuation of dance to the magic of ballet in a joyful, supportive environment.
Dancers should pack a snack. All crafting materials will be provided.
Note: If dancers are planning to audition for The Nutcracker on Friday, August 15th for the Syracuse production, this is a great opportunity to prepare!

Take your training to the next level with Syracuse City Ballet’s Intermediate/Advanced Summer Dance Intensive! Designed for dancers ages 12 and up with prior experience, this four-day program offers a dynamic and challenging curriculum to strengthen technique, expand versatility, and inspire artistic growth.
Each day runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and includes focused classes in: Ballet, Stretch & Strength, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, and Theatre Dance.
Led by SCB’s Artistic Staff and professional Company Artists, dancers will deepen their technical foundation while exploring a variety of movement styles that support a well-rounded dancer. This intensive is perfect for those looking to refine their skills, prepare for a new season, or explore dance more seriously in a supportive, high-energy environment.
Dancers should pack a lunch for each day.
